Product Description
The Magnetic Panel is a heavy-duty magnetic separation solution designed to remove ferrous metal contamination from materials passing along conveyors, chutes, ducts, and material handling systems. It is commonly installed above conveyor belts or in material flow channels to capture tramp iron, bolts, nuts, wire, nails, screws, and other ferrous contaminants from powders, granules, gravel, grains, plastics, sugar, flour, and other bulk materials.
Magnetic panels are available with different magnetic systems, including NdFeB rare earth magnets and ferrite magnets, depending on the required magnetic strength, adsorption distance, material flow depth, and application environment. Large NdFeB magnetic panels are suitable for applications requiring stronger magnetic performance and longer effective capture distance, while ferrite magnetic panels may be suitable for general-purpose separation where lower magnetic intensity is acceptable.
These magnetic panels can be supplied with deep mounting tapped holes on the back of the plate or with eye bolts for suspended installation. They can be rigidly mounted using threaded bolts or suspended above conveyors using cable or chain systems. When properly installed, they help improve product purity, protect downstream equipment, and reduce production downtime caused by ferrous metal contamination.
For magnetic panels, Magnetop can provide options based on either surface magnetism or adsorption distance. The common surface magnetic range is approximately 6,000–12,000 Gauss, and sizes can be customised according to your application requirements.
