AlNiCo magnets have an extrodinary temperature stability than the other types of magnets so they are mostly used for high temperature toolings or the oil field where high temperature is present. AlNiCo magnets are also used as guitar pickups.
Generally speaking, AlNiCo magnets are more fragile than neodymium magnets but have a better machinbility so to provide a higher precision.
